October 7 – 13

Holy God,
I look forward to the day when all people, nations, tribes, and tongues will know You in the fullness of Your glory and greatness. How wonderful You are!

Looking ahead: Next week we read Hebrews. “The Tabernacle” pamphlet will be helpful for background information on the tabernacle, sacrifices, and the high priest.

Use this video to pray for Guatemala today.

Read Psalm 119. Psalm 119 is an acrostic poem. Each stanza begins with a different letter in the Hebrew alphabet. To make it even more complex, all verses in a stanza begin with the same letter. For example, in the first stanza, “Aleph,” all eight verses begin with the Hebrew letter aleph. Because it has 22 stanzas, it’s scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday. The audio link will play all of Psalm 119.
