Week 20

MONDAY

Today’s reading is about the Day of Atonement, an annual holy day for the Israelites. This video connects the Old Testament rituals of sacrifice/atonement to Jesus, who made atonement for our sins forever.

Leviticus 16-18 – Listen as you read in your Bible, underlining or highlighting sections that especially speak to you. Then use those sections to journal your thoughts to God.

TUESDAY

Leviticus 19-21 – Listen/read and journal. As you read Leviticus, remember its importance to the ancient Jewish people. This nation of former slaves needs to form a new government. If they listen to God, He will make them wiser than all their enemies. That’s true for us, too!

Song: I’m Listening

WEDNESDAY

Watch this video about Sabbath and the Year of Jubilee (which we’ll read about tomorrow).

Leviticus 22-23 – Listen/read and journal.

Song: Redeemed (For lyrics, click on subtitles/closed captions.) – As shown by the Year of Jubilee, God’s heart is for redemption. He seeks each of us, redeeming us from slavery to sin to become His children.
